How Frankenfoods Are Contaminating Our Food Supply – and Your Body!

Do stay away from GMO foods, soy and corn being the most highly problematic.

Here is an excerpt from an article by Suzanne Somers about our contaminated food supply.

As the saying goes, “We are what we eat” – but considering what we eat nowadays, that’s not saying much. We could do a heck of a lot better! The average American’s diet leans heavily on corn, not so much in its vegetable form – which is okay in moderation when you reach level 2 – but in its nasty, toxic forms, like high-fructose corn syrup, which is found in many of the fake, processed foods at the center of the supermarket. And if you’re a vegetarian, your diet probably also leans heavily on soy.

So what does this mean for you?

Well, corn and soy are two of the leading Frankenfoods – or genetically modified crops – out there. This makes them available and affordable, but don’t be fooled: It doesn’t make them good for our health. While genetic modification is great for the food industry – allowing for hardier produce with a longer shelf life and, sometimes, new and interesting characteristics – it’s simply not that great for our bodies. We’re designed to digest natural, nutritious whole foods – not produce that’s been tampered with in a scientific laboratory.

Ms. Somers goes on to suggest removing any foods that contain corn-based products – especially high-fructose corn syrup – from your diet. and eating animal protein that is organic and naturally raised.
